Bright daylight near a window beats overhead lighting. Get down to your pet's eye level — no top-down shots. Sharp focus on the face, especially the eyes. Keep the background simple so your pet stands out.

Aim for a large original (2000×2000 or bigger), JPG or PNG, no filters or Instagram crops.

Every 3D POP portrait is cut from Wax Buttero, a vegetable-tanned full-grain leather from Conceria Walpier — a tannery in Tuscany still practicing methods that have barely changed in centuries.

It ages beautifully. Develops a warm patina with every belly-rub it sits next to. Lives lightly on the planet. Outlasts most things in the house, including the human's couch.
